Exercise Tips

  • Before starting a regular exercise program, consult with your
    physician.

  • Exercise is good for both the mind and the body and should be
done on a regular basis.  It does not need to be exhausting or
    unpleasant.

  • Choose the type of exercise you enjoy and set aside a minimum of
30 minutes a day on most days of the week.

  • Exercise indoors or walk a shopping mall if the weather is hot and
    humid or cold and windy.

  • It is always safest to exercise with a partner and my help increase
your compliance with an exercise program.

  • If you experience discomfort such as chest pain, tightness in the
chest, difficulty breathing or light-headedness stop exercising and
    seek help.

  • Exercising is a healthy lifetime activity.  Choose an activity you enjoy and
    have FUN!
